Celebrate this batty event as the world's largest bat colony (anywhere between 75,000-1.5 million Mexican Free Tail Bats which take up seasonal residence beneath the Ann Richard's Congress Street Bidge) take to the skies for their nightly flight feasting on insects. The legacy of Le Mans meets American sports car racing! 2 days of non-stop racing including a 6 hour endurance finale under the stars. Austin is the only place in America to see Le Mans prototypes and GT Le Mans cars from both the World Endurance Championship and the Tudor United SportsCar Championship. Fans can watch all of their favorite sports cars like Porsche, Audi, Ferrari, Corvette, BMW and Toyota take on the only Grand Prix facility in the United States.

2nd Annual Austoberfest (Austin + Oktoberfest)
Austin Saengerrunde will open the doors to the Saengerrunde Halle and Scholz Bier Garten for the 2nd Annual AustOberfest to celebrate Central Texas German heritage with German beer, sausages, bowling and live music. All-inclusive tickets are $40 in advance, $50 at the door, $20 for Saengerrunde members, and are available at Brown Paper Tickets. Proceeds will benefit Foodways Texas. Tickets to this authentic Oktoberfest celebration gives you access to unlimited German-style sausages, mustards and sides from some of the top Central Texas meat purveyors, German beer tastings, and live music!
